  In the broader medical aesthetics field, there are some good journals and magazines: Cosmetic News and Body Language for example.

  Nurses often ask if there any good books they could read. There are some great ones, but these tend to be very expensive and because the industry is so fast-paced in terms of products and techniques, books quickly go out of date.

  There is also the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, and there are some lovely little local groups too for Cosmetic Nurses so it is worth asking around to find out if there is one in your area.

  Product representatives for all the different companies are fantastic. They are the ones you contact about any product queries and they also organize some brilliant event days which not only allow you to find out more about particular products but give you opportunity to network with others in the industry, so take every opportunity to attend these!
