Support Networks for Doctors during Botox training & in the Medical Aesthetic Industry
- Support From Cosmetic Courses
At Cosmetic Courses, we provide our delegates with a hand to hold when they complete their Botox training. We are always on call to help with any queries as you go into business. Our doctors can email us or send photos of any patients they need advice about and we will always reply rapidly.
- The Cosmetic Courses Academy
We also have our ongoing training Academy website which offers free information sheets, podcasts and videos to keep aesthetic practitioners current in their training and business development.
- The Wider Medical Aesthetics Field
In the broader medical aesthetic field, there are some good journals and magazines: Cosmetic News and Body Language for example.
Doctors often ask if there any good books they could read. There are some great ones but because the industry is so fast-paced in terms of products and techniques, books quickly go out of date.
The British Association of Cosmetic Doctors represents and unifies cosmetic medical doctors. Claiming to ‘maintain standards and ethics in cosmetic medicine’, there are over 300 members and opportunities for training, education and ongoing support.
You can read Cosmetic Courses’ interview with Mike Cummin, president of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors, in our blog.
