Advice for Doctors considering Botox Training
Are you a Doctor considering a training course in Botox, dermal fillers or other medical aesthetic procedures?
At Cosmetic Courses, we have trained over 800 doctors in the latest techniques in non-surgical treatments.
After Botox Training – Business Prospects for Doctors
We have surveyed some of the previous doctors on our training courses: many now work fulltime in the Botox and dermal fillers industry but most combine a successful cosmetic career with their normal positions in the medical industry.
Some have integrated techniques learnt on our Botox courses for doctors into their everyday practices. Botulinum toxin can successfully treat a range of medical conditions in many instances. Examples include:
- ENT maxillofacial surgeons who use Botox techniques to treat conditions like Freys syndrome and spasm of the masseter muscle
- Doctors treating Hyperhidrosis of the face, scalp and axillary (armpit) areas
- Migraine headache specialists.
Botox training for doctors with Cosmetic Courses enables a career in aesthetic medicine to be combined with your previous role. Past doctors we have trained feel this provides good variety in their weekly work routine, leading to greater job satisfaction and quality of life.
A proportion of our previous doctors now work exclusively in the United Kingdom cosmetics field. Some have developed very successful clinical practices.
Another career option after your Botox course is to aim to become a Trainer yourself. Cosmetic Courses are proud that a number of previous delegates have returned to train for us on our courses. Since training with us, we feel that they have gained sufficient expertise and experience within the industry to now become Trainers themselves in botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments.
